Help & Documentation

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Start here. This page is the entry point for product documentation, deployment guidance and answers to the questions we are asked most. Several products are in private preview — where that is the case it is stated on the product page, and the documentation reflects what exists today rather than what is planned.

Getting started

Every Vertex Dynamics product follows the same shape, so once you have deployed one the rest are familiar.

  • 1. Confirm prerequisites. A Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Dataverse environment, and an account with permission to install solutions into it.
  • 2. Request access. Use the contact form or email us. Preview products are enabled per tenant rather than self-service.
  • 3. Install into a sandbox first. We do not recommend a first install directly into production, and we will not ask you to do it.
  • 4. Run in read-only mode. Our agents default to read-only. Confirm the output looks right against data you already understand before enabling any write behaviour.
  • 5. Review the audit trail. Every action is recorded. Check it reads the way your auditors would expect.

How our agents behave

Three design rules hold across the portfolio, and they are the answer to most architectural questions:

  • Read-only by default. An agent observes and reports. Write actions are opt-in, explicit, and never the default state after installation.
  • No arithmetic performed by a language model. Calculations are deterministic and reproducible. A model may explain a number; it does not compute one.
  • Human approval before consequential action. Where an agent proposes a change, a person approves it, and the approval is recorded.

Security and data handling

Our software operates inside your Microsoft tenant against your own environment. Write actions, where enabled, are recorded in your Dynamics 365 audit trail — the record lives with you, not with us.

Authentication uses Microsoft Entra ID. An agent can only see and do what the role you assign it already permits; it does not hold standing elevated permissions of its own.

For what we collect through this website and how we handle it, see the Privacy Policy. For contractual terms, see the Terms.

Frequently asked

Will installing this change my Dynamics 365 data?

Not by default. Products install in read-only mode. Any write capability is opt-in and must be deliberately enabled.

Which Dynamics 365 versions are supported?

Support varies per product and is stated on each product page. If your version is not listed, email us — we would rather tell you plainly than have you discover it during an install.

Can I try a product before committing?

Yes. Preview access is granted per tenant. Use the contact form and tell us which product and which environment you have in mind.

Do you offer implementation services?

Vertex Dynamics is a software company. Implementation and consulting are a separate commercial conversation and are not bundled with a product licence.

How do I report a bug or ask for a feature?

Email hello@vertexdynamicslabs.com. Feature requests are read by the person who decides the roadmap.

Still stuck?

Email hello@vertexdynamicslabs.com. Response targets, severity levels and escalation are set out in our Support Policy.
